Giacomo Verde non esiste

Italiano [English below]

Giacomo Verde (1956-2020) was one of the leading figures in video art, digital and interactive art, and video theater in Italy.

In 2014, Giacomo participated with a video interview in fivewordsforthefuture, a project born from a series of reflections on the future, originated by Noema with the aim of helping to recognize and understand what is “new,” innovation, and to imagine the future.

The video interview was conducted by Giorgia Benvenuti, co-founder of fivewordsforthefuture, who used the material for her master’s thesis at the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino.

So, we were very pleased to be contacted by Giovanni Vecchio with the request to include this video interview in the docu-film Giacomo Verde non esiste, of which he is co-screenwriter and producer, a work that already includes Anna Maria Monteverdi, Sandra Lischi, Tommaso Verde, and Clemente Pestelli.
